Canada is very likely the country I’m going to emigrate to after college but winters like that will make me really homesick. If it goes bellow +10°C I’m already freezing.

I’m just south of the mountains in New Hampshire, but under 100 miles from the coast, so we get all kinds of variation. 51F on Friday, -2F on Sunday night. So basically the entire state is going to become a skating rink. Dump water then deep freeze it. I can’t wait...

well than Vancouver looks like where you want to go, since it is our warmest city

Lol 50 degrees (F) is a very nice day. But yeah I’ve definitely seen people in winter coats in that weather here in LA. Anything above 0F is plenty palatable, its below that where you start regret your choices in life.

I’m pretty used to between 100°F in the summers (right now is 81°
F) to 60°F in the winters here. Coldest for me yet was surprisingly Florida at 43°F

Very likely it is, but there is something in Toronto that attracts me a lot. If everything goes to planning, I will spend the second semester of 2019 there.

Also, not being picky or anything, but I need the sun so I can function properly, and Toronto has ~130 more hours of sunshine per year than Vancouver

compared to rural rest of canada, Toronto has mild winters.
